Luckison Invites Vera

For our next gathering, we are happy to welcome back Vera!

A long-standing figure in the European underground, a staple at clubs such as Robert Johnson and Hoppetosse, she is a master of carefully crafted sets based on groove, smoothness and subtle mixing. Never one to chase big moments or trends, rather tapping into the crowd with sensitivity and restraint, building a story through an understanding of people’s energy that most of us can take notes from.
It is always a lesson and a trip for both DJs and dancers alike when she’s behind the decks, and we’ll be ready with our ears sharpened!
We’ll have our own Mayell to get the classroom warmed up, while Tim Kern will make sure we have even more homework to do until the end of the night!
