Celica Špila 2026: Luje (FR) + lars from norway (SLO)

Celica špila, pleše, miga, gruva in muva – že peto leto zapored!🥳 Ob petem rojstnem dnevu bomo v juliju in avgustu 2026 pripravili nepozabno glasbeno praznovanje z vrhunskim naborom domačih in tujih bendov! 🥳
🤟 Ta teden bomo žurali ob zasanjanih shoegaze zvokih francoske zasedbe Luje in ob pomoči domače zasedbe lars from norway.
Ko pade noč in utripajoče ulične luči osvetljujejo betonske velikane, zapuščene ulice pod njimi niso ravno prijetne. V noči, ki pogosto gosti naša razpoloženja, pa se skriva globoka, neokrnjena lepota; prav ta prežema album »Among the Firs« skupine Luje. Drugi album zasedbe iz Lyona, posnet v zavetju borovega gozda, razkriva željo po poglabljanju v bolj intimne teme, kot je izguba bližnjih, ob tem pa se dotakne tudi širših vprašanj, kot sta politika in ekološka tesnoba.
Na tem drugem, bolj osvobojenem albumu, ki ga je skupina v celoti producirala sama in je izšel pri založbah Howlin' Banana in Confiture Distribution, se Luje nežno oddalji od elektro-pop melodij, ki so zaznamovale njihova prejšnja dela, ter se poda v bolj ostre, nasičene zvočne pokrajine, s čimer utrjuje svoje shoegaze temelje. Gre za udaren album, na katerem se prepletajo silovita tolkala, retro-futuristični sintetizatorji, eterične vokalne linije ter prodorno in istočasno objemajoče zvenenje kitar. Album je kot zatočišče, pomirjujoč in hkrati razkošen, popoln sopotnik za odmik od sveta in prepuščanje svojim lastnim čustvom.
👌 lars from norway je glasen trio iz Ljubljane, ki v spektru shoegaze glasbe sodi bolj na stran emo, in tako prepleta shoegaze, post-hardcore in emo v svojo verzijo naefektiranega hrupa.

🤟 This week, our party continues with the dreamy shoegaze tunes of Luje and lars from norway.
When night falls, flickering street lights illuminate the concrete behemoths and the deserted streets are hardly welcoming. And while the night often plays host to our moods, there's a deep, unadulterated beauty to be found in the darkness. It is precisely this beauty that emanates from Luje's album “Among The Firs”. Recorded in a refuge in the middle of a pine forest, the Lyonnais‘ second album shows a willingness to delve into intimate subjects such as the loss of others (“Don't go”, “Yeah”, “Free Spirit”), as well as expressing themselves on common concerns such as politics (“89”, “All The Same”) and eco-anxiety (“Nobody Speaks”, “Too Cold”).
In this second, more liberated album, entirely self-produced by the group and to be released by Howlin' Banana and Confiture Distribution, Luje gently detaches itself from the electro-pop melodies that populated their previous efforts to explore steeper, more saturated terrain, consolidating its shoegaze foundations. This is an uppercut album where impetuous percussion, retro-futuristic synthesiser synths, ethereal vocal lines and sometimes incisive, sometimes enveloping guitar notes. A refuge album, reassuring and decadent, the perfect alternative for cutting yourself off from the world and letting your emotions do the rest.
👌 lars from norway is a three piece band from Ljubljana, formed in december 2024, blending shoegaze, post-hardcore and emo influences, driven by a reverbed noisy sound.
