Join us for a Christmas weekend in Ljubljana. Feel the special atmosphere at Christmas in this beautiful city. You won’t never forget! It doesn’t matter if you are old or new member – it will be easy to get in contact with other members and enjoy the time with the CS community. Feel the special spirit of Couchsurfingand the special spirit of Ljubljana.
Ljubljana will welcome in the festive season by switching on its Christmas lights at a countdown ceremony in Prešeren Square at 29.11.2024 at 5pm. The decorations include more than 50 kilometres of illuminations and garland lights and some 900 light objects in Prešeren Square. A Christmas market will get under way in the central market area and at Breg, the riverside.
The CS communities of Ljubljana and Linz (Austria) organize some perfect events for you at this weekend (from Friday to Sunday) to celebrate the Advent/Christmas time with you. Let’s party together for three days!
IMPORTANT:
As it’s written above, the most important event is when the Christmas lights switch on. So don’t miss the event at Friday afternoon.
We will update the following schedule in the next weeks and post some sub-events. Please visit this event from time to time to see what is new and register for the sub-events as soon as possible – that is more easier for us organizers.
