𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝘆𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 je studio berlinskih umetnikov Holly Herndon in Mata Dryhursta, ki deluje na presečišču glasbe, umetne inteligence in digitalnih sistemov. Njuna praksa raziskuje, kako tehnologije oblikujejo ustvarjalnost, kolektivno znanje in načine sodelovanja, pri čemer umetno inteligenco razumeta kot odraz človeške ustvarjalnosti in ne kot ločeno, tujo inteligenco.
Ena od njunih značilnih metodologij je učenje AI modelov z uporabo fotografij, glasov in drugega gradiva, ki ga ustvarita sama, s čimer preizprašujeta vprašanja avtorstva, podatkov in nadzora nad ustvarjalnim procesom. S projekti, kot so Holly+ (2021), xhairymutantx (2024) in The Call (2024), razvijata nove modele ustvarjanja, ki raziskujejo prihodnost umetnosti v času generativne umetne inteligence.
Kot poudarjata sama, prihodnost umetne inteligence ne pripada nujno smetju (ang. slop), generični, avtomatizirani in nekritični produkciji vsebin, ampak se lahko razvije v prostor premišljene, kolektivne in človeške oblike ustvarjanja.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝘆𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 is a Berlin-based studio founded by artists Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst, working at the intersection of music, artificial intelligence, and digital systems. Their practice explores how technologies shape creativity, collective knowledge, and forms of collaboration, approaching artificial intelligence not as a separate alien intelligence, but as a reflection of human creativity.
One of their distinctive methodologies involves training AI models on photographs, voices, and other materials they create themselves, questioning issues of authorship, data ownership, and control over the creative process. Through projects such as Holly+ (2021), xhairymutantx (2024), and The Call (2024), they develop new models of creation that explore the future of art in the age of generative AI. As they emphasize themselves, the future of artificial intelligence does not necessarily belong to slop—generic, automated, and uncritical content production—but can instead evolve into a space for thoughtful, collective, and human forms of creation.
